Regular Shipping, Australia wide Parcel Post, purchases or hires $4.95

Some items are taking a little longer than usual right now due to high parcel volumes and ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.

Australia Post expected shipping times for Parcel Post:

  • Same state: 2–5 business days
  • Interstate (metro to metro): 3-7 business days

Express Post Shipping, Australia Post, purchases or hires $9.95

Australia Post shipping times for Express Shipping:

  • 1-3 business days

Express shipping on hires will be posted the same day if the order is placed before 12 pm. We endeavour to post urgent hires on the same day or next day at latest, depending on the time your order was placed. If you are due soon, please select Express Shipping we will post it urgently for you regardless, however may need to take into consideration delayed delivery, or baby coming earlier than expected.

All TENS hires booked with an EDD of 4.5 weeks or less at the time off booking whether by regular post or express post will have their TENS posted to them ASAP, meaning, the same day or the following day. 

RETURNS & REFUNDS ON PURCHASED ITEMS. 

Change of Mind

Birthmother does not accept returns on a change of mind purchase. This does not apply to hire. 

Faulty Product

If you have received a product that you believe is faulty, please contact us with a detailed description about the fault and any photos you are able to provide, and we endeavour to rectify as soon as possible. 

Incorrect or Damaged Item Upon Arrival

If you have received an item you did not order, or if you received a damaged item upon its arrival, please take a photo and contact us at within 7 days of your order arriving. 

We aim to respond quickly to your complaint or enquiry. 

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of posting your return product. In many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper, the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Returns & Refunds of Hire

We check all hires before sending them off however we encourage you to check your hire as soon as it arrives in case there are any issues we will gladly rectify by sending you a replacement hire via express post. 

We will provide you a refund if you no longer require your hire, less $10 administration fee if the hire has not already been posted out to you. We unfortunately do not provide refunds for change of mind if your hire was already posted out to you. 

We monitor your parcel every day, if we notice a delay, we are quick on the phone with Australia Post enquiring about the delay & estimated delivery. If your delivery will be arriving much later that what it was supposed to, or is lost in transit, we will send you another hire via Express Post, and we will make contact with you about this.

Returning your Hire to Us 

Your hire will include a prepaid return postage sticker label. With TENS hire, the label will be found in your TENS pouch. Please reuse the compostable pink satchel your hire arrives in, to return the hire back to us. 

For CUB only hires, the prepaid return postage sticker label will be found in the CUB box, please reuse the compostable satchel the CUB arrives in to send back to us.
