Emina's Birth in a Nutshell

Last year when I delivered my 3rd bub, I had to get induced (yay). I had the balloon inserted at 3pm the day before.

From then until 11pm I was contracting every 5-7 minutes until the balloon finally fell out which meant it was time to go to the hospital!

Arrived at the ward around 5am, started the induction straight away & the contractions were hitting real hard! But thank goodness for the tens machine, literal life saver until I couldn’t bear the pain anymore!

Got the epidural at around 10am and I was finally able to rest, but then I started to feel the contractions again on my right side! But by then it was time to push, but being numb from the waist down I could not feel a thing!

I didn’t think I was pushing my baby out, it felt like he was coming out all on his own ? such a weird feeling, but best birth ever!
